Gorde Rusby

The Blue Devils had their first race for the outdoor season at the Gord Rusby Invite this past weekend and they came to RUN!!

Though only a first year atom girl, Martina Ianakiev made it into the finals finishing 5th overall with a time of 14.98 in the 100m

Trifon Trifonidis opened his season in the Atom Boys 400m placing 4th overall with a time of 1:11.1 and 8th in the 800m with a time of 2:40.99.

Cassidy Smyth Robinson opened her season with an 800m placing 6th with a time of 3:05 in the Tyke Girls event.

Up next is the Hershey Qualifiers!  GREAT JOB BLUE DEVILS!!!!

SORA SOARING TO FLORIDA!!!

Congratulations to Coach Krystine Sora on her scholarship to Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  Krystine will be focusing on the hurdles as well as attempting pole v
ault with hopes of being a conference contender for her school. Her abilities don't stop on the track. Part of Sora's scholarship is because of her strong academics.  Krystine is on a part athletic / academic  scholarship. When she's not on the track hurdling and vaulting, she will be in the classroom focus on major in Marine Biology.

Nova Southeastern University is a private institution known for it's undergraduate and graduate academic research in medicine, oceanography, cancer, psychology, dentistry, and autism. The NSU Sharks compete in the Sunshine State conference and is ranked 3rd in their conference.  

To this date the Blue Devils have now had 4 of there coaches signed to an American school on Scholarship for Track and Field!!  Congratulations Krystine!!!!!
